The mission of our Church endures through every generation, as Christ calls us to be His presence in our world and local community. In this special Jubilee year we celebrate our shared legacy of faith and commitment, recognizing our collective responsibility to preserve and strengthen what has been given to us and what we are called to pass on to future generations. Our parish facilities, like any treasured home, require ongoing care and updating to continue to meet the needs of our parishioners and community. Over the past months, our Parish Finance Council and Church Renovation Committee have carefully reviewed the condition of our campus and outlined recommendations for necessary renovations, which we enclose here for your consideration.
On January 8, 2025, we presented to you, our parishioners, the plans we have developed thus far. The two presentations we gave that day were very well attended and very well received. That was followed by a display of the same renderings and floor plans after all Masses the following weekend in our cafeteria. Many of you came by to see that display and meet with members of the Parish.
Finance Council and Parish Renovation Committee to have your questions answered. Those pictures are now on display at the Parish Center during regular business hours. We invite everyone to come by and look more closely at the plans.
As we continue plan to address these necessary renovations and improvements, the next steps are to assess our community’s capacity and readiness to support this important work – to run a Feasibility Study. Your perspective is vital to our planning process to help us better prioritize and ensure the feasibility of a successful campaign.
We invite you and urge you to participate in a feasibility study to help us determine the practicality of this effort. This is an important first step in understanding the priorities, goals, and financial potential within our parish community before moving forward with any fundraising initiatives. Letters are being mailed to the homes of registered parishioners, and more information will follow from the pulpit, in the bulletin and in the pew.
Thank you for your thoughtful consideration, your prayers, and your ongoing dedication to our parish community. Your involvement in this process will be instrumental in helping us prepare a path forward that honors both our needs and our shared vision.
Sincerely in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary,
Rev. Arlindo Paul Da Silva, Pastor
